Making good for every family

GOOD CITY PRESCHOOL exists with a simple, yet transformative goal: to provide the kids of our city with a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We believe that quality early education is the key to unlocking every kid’s full potential – helping them develop the skills, curiosity, and confidence they need to succeed.

By investing in the future of our kids, GOOD CITY PRESCHOOL is doing our part to make our city good. We’re committed to nurturing young minds, building a brighter tomorrow, and creating a community where every kid has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. We’re thankful to provide parents and families affordable, quality care for their kids.

Hi Families,

And welcome to GOOD CITY PRESCHOOL! It is our goal to provide a loving Christian atmosphere where children are given the opportunities to develop spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.

Each child will be encouraged to express themselves through age-appropriate play, they will be challenged through small group activities with engaging curriculum and grow socially through group play in different classroom centers. We are excited to offer each class a time for “specials” which will be chapel, music, and gym.

We look forward to getting to know you and your child during this fun season of life! We will make sure to provide an environment where children feel loved and special for their uniqueness!

We believe in nurturing each child’s development through a combination of creative play, structured lessons, and social interaction. Every child is unique, and we tailor our approach to support their individual needs and interests. At the Pre-K and Bridge level, students' lessons are built around Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines as determined by the Texas Education Agency.

Our daily schedule includes a balanced mix of free play, circle time, small group activities, outdoor play, art, and music. Children engage in activities designed to enhance cognitive, emotional, and social development. A typical day starts with center time, a small group activity, snack time, a morning circle, outdoor play, lunch, and rest time. Each age group has a schedule/routine for their day.

We believe in open and regular communication with parents. We provide updates to all parents through the remind app, for ages 2 and under there will be a daily note sent home about your child’s day.  Additionally, we schedule parent-teacher conferences with our Pre-K and Bridge class twice a school year to discuss your child’s progress. Our doors are always open for any questions or concerns you may have.

To enroll, children must be 18 months – 5 years of age. We ask for physician signed immunization records / notarized affidavit, a health statement from your child’s physician, if your child is 4 years-old or older we need their vision and hearing evaluation, and if your child has a diagnosed allergy, we need the allergy plan signed by their physician. All those documents will be turned in with our admission form you can download from our website.  Our tuition is divided evenly across the school year, there is a yearly registration fee, and a supply fee due twice a year.
